Upcoming initiative to build safe homes for homeless families and support vulnerable elderly through community outreach, restoring dignity and strengthening social protection.
Exodus Foundation is pleased to announce an upcoming humanitarian initiative in Burundi, specifically in Butanyerera Province, Kirundo Commune, aimed at restoring dignity and strengthening social protection for vulnerable community members.
The activity will focus on constructing safe, durable housing for homeless families who currently face unsafe living conditions and heightened vulnerability. Access to adequate shelter is fundamental to protection, health, and long-term stability. By providing secure homes, the initiative seeks to create a foundation for resilience and renewed hope.
In parallel, the program will include dedicated outreach visits to elderly individuals living in isolation and hardship. Through compassionate engagement and basic support, the initiative will promote social inclusion, well-being, and community solidarity.
Through this integrated approach, Exodus Foundation continues its mission of bridging people to a better life, ensuring that the most vulnerable are not left behind.
